Andy
Any praise I could offer could not effectively describe
how pleased I was with Andy. His skill set allowed us
to complete the discovery process within two hours, which
in my opinion is a major accomplishment considering the size
and scope of our project that includes 54 worldwide sites.
He hit the ground running and was a critical
member to my migration team. He was assigned some very difficult
issues to resolve, which allowed the project to continue
on schedule. Andy was even assigned some tasks which may
have seemed remedial and tedious, but he took them with a
smile and completed them with enthusiasm.
Andy was also a very personable member of the team who
helped keep team members’ morale high, with everyone
eager to complete tasks. He fit right in so the team operated
not just as a team, but as a family. My team has been together
for over 4 years without any turnover, which is a good indicator
as to how close the team has become. In his short time with
us, Andy had my entire team feeling as if he had been with
us for years, due to how well he won over everyone's trust.
Andy is definitely a fine representative and I would not
hesitate in providing recommendations to anyone to use Collective
for any consulting needs.

Dale
I just wanted to send you a quick note letting you know
what a great job Dale did this week. He has been
a real trooper and I don't think we would be where
we are without his help. We consider him a valued member
of the team and look forward to working with him on this
project.
—Dell
I just wanted to say thank you for assigning Dale to our
engagement that was coordinate through Dell Professional
Services. Not only is Dale a great person to work
with, he is an excellent engineer. The last four
weeks have gone without a hitch in regards to Dale’s
assistance and performance. I look forward to the possibility
of working with Dale in some of our upcoming projects involving
Dell Professional Services.

Hermie
As the storage champion for EDS domestic managed storage
I have worked with many people in the storage field in my
years. Without a doubt, Ted Julie and Hermie have skill sets
to match anyone within EDS, and a stronger dedication and
work ethic. EDS is better company because of these three.
Their accomplishments towards completing the storage migrations
on time are exemplary. To my knowledge EDS has never
migrated this much hardware and data in such a short period
of time.
They have put in the extra hours and lost weekends without
complaint. In monetary terms they will save EDS over
$1.2 million this year by avoiding lease and maintenance
penalties--all while maintaining their regular workload.
I am very proud to be associated with this team.
—EDS
This recognizes Senior Storage Systems Engineer Hermie
Cloete and his support for SPD's Clustered Server implementation
in the Webster Data Center. Hermie's work is outstanding
by every measure. He significantly contributed to the Xerox
Order To Collection business system and how it now operates
within a "Highly Available" systems framework.
This offers real business value to Xerox from a continuous
operations standpoint.
Hermie carefully guided the successful integration of EMC² SAN
technologies into the cluster. He proactively identified
gaps and implemented solutions that were key to the outcome.
Hermie supported a series of Promote-To-Production engineering
activities resulting in minimal impact to users and a high
quality delivery.
Hermie helps Xerox leverage investments in EMC² technologies
and services. Innovations such as support for SCSI3 Persistent
Reservations and IO Fencing ensure data protection. Hermie's
work streamlined our Hot Backup mechanism while maximizing
the use of Business Continuity Volumes with the Cluster.
He helped overcome various interoperability challenges between
disparate vendor technologies to deliver what was required.
Hermie's thoughtful and collaborative approach
helped a cross-functional team work effectively together. He
made certain all players understood work he was doing and
how they may be impacted. He carefully documented and explained
little-understood technologies and improved overall productivity,
while reducing defects that can arise with complex interlocking
functionality. Thanks to Hermie for his continued support
of these efforts! Well done!!

Jonathan
Jonathan's assistance on this has been greatly appreciated
and the comments from the customer, on the attached project
sign-off sheet, speak for themselves. He really helped
us take an initially tough situation with this Cluster
engagement (Felix vs. ROCKS, multiple master nodes, etc) and
turn it into a positive customer experience. I understand
from the account team that the customer is already planning/budgeting
for their next upgrade. Thanks again for the outstanding
effort.

Norm
I wanted to thank Norm for the work he did at Raytheon
Corp for a Celerra Migration while he was onsite for a residency.
When I heard we had a resident onsite that might be able
to help, my initial thought was, “Okay, it's a person
onsite,” but I didn't expect much assistance from past
experiences. Norm was extremely helpful in providing technical
assistance on a successful Celerra migration. The
customer is very happy how this project went.
Norm was willing to do whatever it took to be helpful to
EMC² on this project. That included writing migration
scripts, Celerra configuration, and onsite post migration
support. He did this while maintaining his primary responsibilities.
Norm is a good technical resource who is very well-rounded
and has a great attitude. I would work with Norm or recommend
him anytime.

Patrick
I just wanted to take a minute and recognize Patrick. I
believe I have mentioned to each of you how helpful and supportive
he has been at Georgia Tech. I just wanted you guys to know
that he really helped Dell - and he really helped
me - when the going was tough. We appreciate his
efforts and as I said, I wanted to recognize him for his
commitment to excellence and positive attitude. I look forward
to working with him on future projects!

Steve C
Steve has been exceptional to work with this last week
and a half - and has a fantastic consultative attitude.
I like people that don't just "do things right - but
do the right thing" and in our environment it's often
a struggle to know what's right. Steve asked when unsure,
and attempted to do the right thing for every situation,
even sometimes when nothing works.

Steve
Just wanted to drop a quick note and let everyone know
that Steven is doing an exceptional job with Sprint. It’s
not often that you come across consultants with this level
of depth, breadth, and expertise and exceptional customer
service. When you do it makes you appreciate them
even more. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
—Microsoft Communications Sector-Americas, Microsoft
I would like to thank Steve for all what he did; I
have never seen someone knows his product as much as Steve. He
not only set up our backups but also educated us on how
to use, he made sure all our needs have been met. He also
gave us very good tips on our exchange. I am so glad you
sent a very knowledgeable person and very friendly too.
People like Steve make me feel we are in good hands with
Veritas. I will deliver this message to my management and
would really appreciate if Steve management would know
too. Steve thanks again.

O
It was a pure pleasure to have Steve with us. As
professional and personable as he proved to be the last time
he was here, Steve came in this week and handled taskings
efficiently and jumped in to assist with the various 'brush
fires' we've had this week. We'll miss having Steve with
us.
